What to know about the Pickup and Delivery service?

There are times when people lack the time and space in their car to drop off their carpet at Carpet Binders. Not to worry, we have a pickup and delivery service available. We drive around surrounding areas in Christchurch to pick up carpet for customers during the working week. We also deliver to different townships near Christchurch, such as Lincoln, Prebbleton, Tai Tapu, Pegasus in Waimakariri District and up to Amberley in the Hurunui District of North Canterbury once a week. 

Wednesdays is our pick up and return delivery day to the Selwyn District and the surrounding area. While on Fridays, it is our designated North Canterbury day for pick up and return delivery. We also have a drop off and collection point in Kaiapoi. 

Often the turnaround for this service is within three working days to make top knotch carpet binding quality. For payment, we have direct debits into our bank account and mobile EFTPOS to assist you in making convenient payments without hassle.  

How to use the Pickup and Delivery service?

How does this work, you may ask. Well, follow these simple steps to set up a time and date for a pickup and delivery in your area:

• Call us at 021 164 0938 or send us a message through the Carpet Binders contact page. Or, email us at the Carpet Binders email address which is available in the header of the website.
• Make sure to specify instructions on how to pick up the carpet from your home or business. It is optional to be present when team members are picking up your carpet. However, if we are in doubt about any instructions, we will call you for clarification.
• We drive to your address and pick up your carpet. Our working van can hold large rugs and mats in any size.   
• When the carpet is at our workshop, the carpet binding team members will start their work right away. 
• Once it is done, we will send you an email or text as a reminder that your newly bound rugs and mats will be delivered to you shortly.
• Two team members will drive back to your address and drop off your revamped rugs or mat to your door. Easy as.
